Monitor A7X (single)

The ADAM A7 monitor, predecessor of the new A7X, has become the most popular monitor in the ADAM family in a very short time. Not only has it been reviewed forty times, it has also received a ton of nominations and won numerous awards for best monitor in its price range. The A7 monitor has achieved worldwide success in a very short time, acclaimed and praised in all the most important audio forums on the web, and is still the reference monitor in many project studios today. With the new A7X monitor, ADAM Audio presents the evolution of a legend, taking everything that made the A7 an out-of-the-box speaker to a new level. Technologies The first aspect that distinguishes the old A7 monitor from the new AX7 is the X-ART tweeter. The 'X' stands for 'eXtended frequency response' and the extension of the frequency response is precisely one of the improved features in the development that has taken ADAM AUDIO's ART technology to a new level. In fact, now the tweeter has a frequency extension that reaches up to 50kHz. In addition, the new X-ART tweeter offers higher efficiency and higher sound pressure. Perfect integration with the low frequency range has been achieved with the design of a new 7 ”woofer. It was made with a larger coil (1.5 ”) driven by an amplifier which has double the power compared to the old model. This combination produces incredible sound and virtually distortion-free sound reproduction even at high playback levels. Amplifiers / controls Tweeter and woofer have their own dedicated amplifier. There is a 50W class A / B amplifier for the X-ART tweeter and another 100W PWM amplifier for the woofer. The front panel features a power button and a volume control that retains settings regardless of the position of the power button. On the rear panel there are several additional controls: a gain control for the high frequencies (± 4dB) and two shelving filters for the high and low frequencies. For maximum flexibility, there are both XLR (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) connections.
